Drum!
In the traditional Sámi worldview everything has a spirit and even multiple spirits. The Noaidis used their drum, Goavddis, to communicate with spirits, ask their advice, harness the elements and travel through spiritual worlds. It was a tool for the Noaidi to reveal the unseen world.
The Noaidi were often guided by spirit helpers, Familiars Spirits called Sáiva Ealli. The mechanics of Skábma are tied to the framework of this Sámi belief system.

Grants the power of the Air. Áilu will dash through gaps and create wind pillars to speed up their journey.

Gives the power of the Earth. Áilu can create new platforms, knock down trees, break unstable rock walls and keep their hold in the strong mountain winds.

Harnesses the power of Water. It will heal Áilu's wounds and protects from the enemy attacks.
Rieban
-The Fox-
The fox wields the power of Fire. It can burn and destroy almost any obstacle in Áilu's way. Agile fox also gives Áilu ability to jump higher.
